Conversation with Ethan through the door

While putting the very cute little boy to bed... I hear this through his door...

Mommy, Mommy
I replied Goodnight go to sleep.
E: I no go to sleep, I need whistle, I no go goodnight
I said goodnight , time for bed
E: I said I no go to bed, I need whistle, Dee dee, Rooney, I told you I no go goodnight , not bed

I finally stopped talking to him and he kept on Rambling the same things over and over again.. I think he will soon be asleep...lol

I love spending time with my little man. we spent time in my bed eating popcorn and watching tree house. nice to spend some quality time with my boy.

Ethan is funny

We went out to dinner tonight and Ethan was so funny. on the way into Pizza Hut he says hi to everyone that we meet . Then as we are leaving he is not paying attention and so I said to him that if he was not careful he was going to go home with another family . I then asked him if he would like a new family Ethan replied straight faced and all , yes please...lol

We made a pit stop on the way home and I ask Ethan do you love your daddy, he says yes I love my Calliou daddy.

Ethan has also taken to saying the day is beautiful when he wakes up from anything. even if its pitch black outside and he cant see yet.

Ethan has also taken to wanting to do the wii fit everyday. he says we all need to exercise. He particularly likes the yoga and hoops (hula hoops) and he is getting better all the time now we all just need to get into a routine.

Today Ethan has kept saying that he is reading a great book, he is reading two wii manuals... the wii fit plus one and wii sports resort.... its funny to listen to him explain what the pictures are showing in these.

Wow I wish I was better at blogging.
Ethan says and does some pretty funny things and if I was smarter or had more time I would be writing more of them down. He loves to pretend which is great and he loves us to pretend with him which is always fun to do. Ethan is so independent its hard sometimes to just let him be. He also loves to help with the house work and cleaning of the building we manage and cooking dinner. He is such the little man. and a big help around the house which is great considering that baby will be here in just a few short weeks or if you go by my coworkers a few days...lol .

Although baby is not due til February 17 some people believe she will be coming this week sometime. I just hope she waits until I am done work which is not until Friday night.

back to my cute little boy. He is always concerned with other kids when they cry and actually at daycare he has taken to following the one little girl who is a crier for attention and just putting her soother in her mouth for her when she cries.. its quite funny. He also has a crush on the one older girl that is there after school , as in he will only eat if she is there and is sitting beside her and when she is done so is he... its funny to watch him . Some days are better then others with Ethan and his eating , and most of the time we just chalk it up to personality but some days I wonder... like this morning when he crawled into our bed at just before 3am.. and then he started talking in his sleep about snacks... now snacks to you and I are just things to nibble on... for Ethan he really just means fruit snacks , everything else has a real name but when he says snack he means fruit snacks.



Ethan has taken to renaming us all again as well.. we seemed to have been able for the most part to no longer be the creepy blue people from Tree house's 4 Squares and we are now the doodlebops.... Ethan is Moe because Moe plays the drums and Ethan now has drums, Geoff gets to be Rooney because well Rooney plays the Guitar and so does Geoff, I get to be Didi but I am sure its just because I am the only girl in the house because I certainly do not play the piano, which brings me to my next thought. Ethan keeps asking about playing the piano, so come summer time we are going to be looking at piano for Ethan and Swimming lessons for both kids.

I will try and be a better blogger from now on. although with Baby #2 headed our way I am not sure how much better I will be .

So Cute Sometimes

Ethan is too cute for words...

This morning he climbs into bed with us and then says he needs his glasses ( which he doesn't actually have) and he comes back with his yellow star shaped sun glasses and his book and starts clapping his hands... just like Lunette the Clown does .. he then opens his book upside down and says ... Once upon a time, the end... lol and closes the book and takes off his glasses... he then starts clapping his hands for light so Geoff starts turning on and off his lamp for Ethan and Ethan says over and over again ... Wow crazy, and Wow lol... we are laughing so hard that Ethan leans over to me and says mommy crying... I said no laughing and he says crazy... then of course being the good sharer that he is passes the glasses and book to me and then to Geoff because we all need a turn. What a great way to start the day .

My Little Boy turnsTwo

my little boy is two. what a whirl wind.
He had two parties one last week with all his friends from church and he had cake and lots of fun with his friends swiming in his pool and playing outside..
We had a second party today with his Uncle Greg and Auntie A and nanny . We had more cake and lots more presents. He recieved so many cool gifts I dont know where to begin with thank you cards.. He got craft bucket full of fun things to play with, Thomas the Train, clothes, a bear, from us he got some more wiggles dvd's , a computer program, lights for his wall and a tent for his bed .
and by this time next year Ethan will have a little sister or brother to get in his way.

Loving every minute of hearing Ethan talk and express himself . sometimes I still dont understand him but we are working on his words and colours and shapes animals . He is growing up so fast its hard to watch some days

Snowy Saturdays in April

Well its been a while since I have updated but here I am .

We have now moved into our apartment for a month and it feels good. We also as of this month are the superintendents of the building we live in. its going to be a little bit of work but it will help us out financially in the long run.

Ethan is growing like a weed . and becoming quite the little man. he has quite the personality which is good but oh gets him in so much trouble. He is speaking a lot more but still not where I thought he would have been.. and he also talks way more at daycare then he does at home so we work daily with him by reading and making him use his words .

Geoff is doing really well in school and has written one of his certification exams and is writing another one in the next few weeks. he is really much smarter then he thinks.. for fun I sometimes will do the practice tests with him or do one for him and I do pretty well... but I think I will leave all the computer stuff to him .

My mom and her mom are coming for a visit and arrive today although I think they are bringing snow with them ... which they could have just left behind.

I am working lots and i like it . not all the people but most of them . i never realised just how many crazy people there are in the world.
